We are going to set up shop, lay out our tools, and you're going to do the style along side me on your model.

At this point most of us know how to do the style. This workshop is going to focus on taking your style and making it stand out from the rest.

I will give feedback, tips, and show you the techniques I use to achieve my bridal looks. We will also discuss the difference in hair textures and how that affects your product selection.

The best bridal styles are in the smallest details I see artists overlooking. Let's learn to edit our skill, refine the details, and simply do it better.

your model - with medium to long hair or extensions, we'll be doing three hairstyles on them

your bridal hair kit - we'll use it for each style so you can find gaps in product if you have any

9:30-10:00 Meet with Miriam and chat about what you hope to gain from the workshop. Find a spot to set up your tools and products, situate model.

10:00-11:00

STYLE #1

During style one we will do a half up hairstyle, talking about how to get the most out this hairstyle and what our struggles are. We will also go over client consultations.

11:00-12:00

STYLE #2

During style two we will do an updo hairstyle, focusing on how to get volume while maintaining proportions. We will discuss what details we tend to miss, what to watch for, and how to edit. We will also discuss how we can optimize content for social media while not taking away from our bridal clients.

12:00-1:00

BREAK FOR LUNCH

Break for lunch! Bring a lunch or find a local spot to grab a quick bite.

1:00-2:00

STYLE #3

During style three we will do a slick hairstyle. Choosing between all up or returning to a half up half down style. We will discuss our strong points, what we can improve on, and the path forward to becoming a well-rounded artist. Last few minutes while we refine, business or any questions for Miriam are encouraged.
